Shift Lever Ribbon Cable Damaged

Is this ribbon cable available to purchase from anywhere? 2012 X5 35i. If I have to buy a used shifter assembly, I could end up with the same problem.

I ended up getting a decent used shifter assembly from a junk yard and installed it today. Took it for a drive and so far the problem is gone. I might still order a ribbon cable from Ali Express and fix the other shifter to have as a spare or sell one.
