I'd rather have air suspension because I tow my other car with my x5 fairly regularly.

I just thought of something....
Wouldn't a 'fake' air spring- say something fabbed out of delrin, with the same shape as the spring, be a 'air bag conversion kit'???? If the airbag is simply a static 'spacer' (not a dynamic spring components) you should be able to replace it with a fixed spacer. Avoids buying new BMW part$$$. |
