Removal of rear hatch trim?

I need to check/clean up/fix the connections for my rear view camera, and to do that I need to get the trim off of the upper rear hatch. I undid the screws set into a couple of internal recesses, and prised open a couple of trim clips, but then it seemed reluctant to come away. I don't want to end up in the valley of the broken trim clips - are there other screws lurking there or should I just pry away and unclip the thing?

If you're talking about the interior trim on the lift gate, here's what you need to do:
  1. remove the two lights
  2. remove 2 screws within the hand holds
  3. remove the curved plastic trim going up each side of the glass. Pry up gently with a pry tool. There are 3 or 4 plastic tabs on each which mate with lift gate
  4. pry up the bowden cable release in the center, and be ready to feed it back through the cover
  5. pry up one side of the lift gate cover with a plastic pry tool, then firmly pull the cover straight away from the lift gate, releasing all of the clips. You'll need to fish the bowden cable release cover through the hole
  6. replace any damaged clips before reinstalling
Hope that helped.
