Oil leak 2008 e70 resolved!!!
I had issues with turbo pipes leaking oil. Both pipes (air to turbo, turbo to intercooler) and engine breather replaced with expesive BMW original part yet the oil was still leaking. Car was also smoking a bit more then I would say it is normal. I was told that possilbe pistons rings issue Just out of chance I decided to replace MAF senson and guess what....YES it all went away! The only way I can explain it that MAF was making a bad mix meaning a lot more of gasses in bottom part of engine which resulted in high pressure and lots of gasses in Engine Breather. Guess this is not just e70 issue but definetly worth trying |

Was this a relatively easy DIY? The E39 V8's are as they are right up front. I now also have an E70 35xi... Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk |
