You need to go to a dealer or to an indy which specializes in BMWs. They will hook up a diagnostic program like ISTA to activate the ABS while bleeding the brakes. If the brakes feel spongy it's not safe to drive the vehicle, so get this done soon. Good luck.

Yes that they already did twice but it’s still spongy. I was reading it that only the dealer has good equipment to really get all the air out of the system. Because the Indy will do the bleeding tire by tire and the dealer 4 at once. It’s only a big spongy when I drive very slow and want to stop the car.

Take it to the dealer. I had to do this once. Shame on the indy that replaced the reservoir but couldn't handle the job. Why did you replace it?

You can’t believe it but there was a whole in the reservoir. Really don’t know how that could happen. Yes the Indy didn’t knew about the bleeding process so he just took it off and all the oil flush out of it.

Did they use a pressure system in addition to activating the abs/stability system? The pressure combined with the vibrating is what gets all the air out. Something like this https://www.ecstuning.com/b-motive-p...eder/motivepb/
In ISTA+ go to vehicle management / service function / chassis and suspension / traction control / brake bleeding routine / brake bleeding procedure. This option will be grayed out unless you let if you let ISTA+ perform a full vehicle test first.

Just got a appointment with the dealer but they told me they want the car probably for a week, do they need such a long time to bleed brakes ?
