Steering rack leak

I was flushing power steering fluid yesterday on my 09 E70 and I think steering rack has a slight leak near the top part where rack attaches to the steering coupler/u-joint. It doesn't look like it's leaking much , there is no power steering fluid loss and no visible power steering fluid on the bottom of the car. It looks like just grime, what do you guys think?

I’ve got a super slow leak too - I would monitor it - if you’re adding oil consider fixing it but it sounds like its not yet a problem - some contact cleaner should get rid of the evidence lol

I had the same leak but worse. They have two o-rings which can be replaced. very tight space but easy job. is going to be messy and will have to refill the fluid.

Old thread, I know... but I've got the same leak and haven't found the O-rings listed anywhere yet. Do you have a part number or size of the O-rings for these lines? Where they standard black buna-N O-rings or were they another color?

I don't want to pop those lines off and find that I've got to custom order a specific size of metric O-rings...

How bad is your leak? I actually never bothered to fix it. I did change the fluid and that leaking spot has actually dried up - no idea what happened. Have you considered pouring AT-205? It stopped my oil pan and rear seal leaks.
