Guys thank you so much for all the pointers. I ended up changing the valve covers gaskets this past weekend and everything went smooth. About 6hrs total start-finish and no more leaks

I had same problem, couldn't get the drivers side cover off. I think I have to torque the engine somehow to get a little more space????

Anyone have a solution?

No issues with drivers side cover removal?
I cant get the ignition coil out.

No issues removing the drivers side cover. Just unplug the fuel line and remove coils
