E70 heater fan loud noise in cold.
It sounded like it had no lubrication and bearings or shaft were rubbing like crazy, it with no noise now, I’m not digging in there unless I know what needs to be done. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks. |

In my E90 I had a similar/same issue. Took out the blower and added some lube to it (The shaft portion) and it went away. Not sure if the same can be done for the E70, but I dont see why not.

I did and I replaced the blower. It was at lower speeds and pretty much all the time.

Thanks for replies. I guess I’ll look for the YouTube video that explains how to get in there!
