Have some question setting kdcan cable with inpa and ista..

So my buddy downloaded both files from bimmergeeks and followed everything step by step uploading onto his laptop.

So far hes setup inpa and ista, and they seem to be working without the cable, as pictured and or shown in others videos/instructions.

So now hes trying to get his cable setup and from what hes reading /watching.....they both use different communication settings? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRam10oezCw

as mentioned above.

IS this true?

Is there a way to setup both inpa and ista to work on 1 communication setting or does he need to make 2 separate setups?

Anyone have any insight of how to properly go about doing this , and is it possible to use 1 cable on the fly with both without changing settings every-time?? any tips tricks are appreciated thanks
