Torque app units not right
The NOx readings though are not plausible. I'm getting in the neighborhood of -90s ppm for pre and post NOx. I don't understand negative parts per million. Also, DPF pressure is showing up to 900 PSI. I would expect this measurement to be in the inH20 range. I'm very annoyed that engine oil temperature is not available. Has anyone noticed this before? I'm up to date on the Torque app btw. Coolant temp is ok, in degF as is EGT's. EGR percentages look about right. I'd like another way of viewing these parameters in real time, but I don't want to replace my CIC with an android version. Any other options besides using an old cell phone sticky-ed to my dash reading the ELM OBDII bluetooth device?

Have you tried contacting "Torque App"? I use them sometimes to monitor and never had an issue like yours and I'm also using a Samsung (Galaxy). If I were you I would reach out them first and see that the App itself is fine. I like Btool expert app more but I'm sure there are other apps that do similar things.

Another one that I was trying out is DeepOBD for BMW. It's kind of a low level interface, seems to require more configuration to get it functioning and useful. Now I just need the display solution, something besides an Android phone.

BTools update
So, downloaded and played with BTool for a couple of days. It's now called bimmer-tool. Connects to my Bluetooth OBD module easily & quickly, solid connection afterwards.
Clean tabular display, not the cool gauges like Torque. Still no oil pressure, only one EGT (?), surprisingly no NOx parameters available. But it's got loads of others that Torque doesn't have; battery voltage, current, battery health, glow plug controller output, DPF status, regen start/stop, and others. Good value for $14.99. Interestingly, I now see that the glow plug controller is way more active than just at the moment of starting the engine. It stays on (varying 100-300W) up to ~1300rpm for the first 5-6 minutes. Comes on during the DPF regen cycle also. Going to have to do some reading on its operation.
