After a long drive, motor stopped. Following by cranks but no start. After investigation, realized that pump was out of order (no rotation), changed today with a new one, it works. I have been able to test it manually (plugged to 12V powertank) and I have the fuel coming out to feed the high pressure pump (can share more details on that test if needed). However, when I open my doors, try to start or anything, I can't hear the pump running. Resulting in crank and no start. ![]() I tried to manually run the pump while starting. It works just fine, no crank, engine doesn't stop (tried for only 2 min but still). I have few questions that I am trying to solve now: 1- Could it be the EKPM3 (7276046)? 2- How can I isolate it? (I would like to avoid spending more money if this is because another reason) 3- Can I test the module myself? If we confirm that I need to change the relay, is a coding mandatory? can I get any EPKM3? Should I get a E70 specific? Many thanks! |
