Rear Entertainment Screen Replacement

I know the system is antiquated and limited, but it works for us with my small kids except that the screen has faded to almost washed out to the point you can barely see it. Does anyone know what the part is to replace the screen itself? I’ve searched found a few threads but the part numbers I’ve found don’t seem to be the actual screen - rather they reference a touchscreen component for Ford screens. We do have iPads and all that but on road trips it just works well for us to put on one movie and let them watch until they sleep. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I Looked into a few screen replacement options but in the end just replaced it.

As in just put in a used one? Ideally I’d like to just replace the screen component within the console.

I pulled mine out due to a failure of the dvd module (pretty sure at least). Never had problems with the screen. I have a dvd player with screens on the back of seats now, seems to be fine. If you want it, PM me.

My ebay link had the part number in the search field. But here are where they came from.

I hear ya I looked at that too. Was hoping someone could say the screen is a “Samsung part **” or whatever that could be purchased elsewhere. Obviously I’m not dropping $2k on a new one. Prob not even $300 on a used one.
