New to me X5
Hi there!
Been wanting an X5 since since forever. First drove one when my e92 (335) started acting up and was in and out of the dealer for service. Long story short and many cars later here I am. Picked up a 2011 35i with 98k on it. Alpine white with oyster interior. 2 owner car and not many service records available. Person I purchased it from is in IT for large banks. Needless to say they were not to sure of anything about the car. I have a few questions and maybe you guys can chime in. 1. For the life of me I can’t clear the seat calibration error. Tried everything I have seen online and nothing works. 2. Pulling code A72EJBE which appears to be something related to heat however- code was in history, I cleared it drove about 100 miles, it comes back but says history so I’m not sure. I can tell you last owner mentioned he replaced some type of “pump” regarding heat issues. Not sure. What’s this mean for me as far as replacing this? 3. I get another code that’s CF32. I searched around and it’s vague. 4. I know the cars about 10 years old but when the cars quiet and I switch from park to drive or vice versus, I can hear the actual shift knob clicking internally- is this normal? 5. Is it possible to code out amber marker in the headlight? Ps I’m coming from a 19 Lexus ES that I lease and a 12 is convertible. Both of which never have an issue. I gave up my e92 and regret it but needed major reliability at the time. Last edited by Isosunrise91; 11-06-2020 at 12:38 AM. Reason: Add image |
