That's why I posted my experience with our wagon. Hope it's something that simple for you OP, but knowing dealerships, they won't want to take the time to deal with it. Just want to replace something (vanos and/or valvetronics ).

Sadly I agree with that and the problem is if it’s internal gunk... that may help but may not fix the issue - which stinks. But I get it, dealerships are “parts hangers” for the most part.

I really like your wagon by the way! Always wanted one with a good stance and a something like a “Thule” bike rack (just the vertical bars not the uprights) on it or something... don’t ask me why, just something about the look.
