Warm air from under the seats...

I have been noticing this for a while, but just finished 2x10 hour days in my car over the weekend and it really began to bother me. As I drive the car down the highway I tend to get a lot of heat up between the front seats, like it’s coming out of our around the transmission tunnel. Today I was driving an air temperatures in the forties to 50s outside, had the thermostat control set to 64, and was cool in the car… Except for the significantly warm air coming up between the center console and both front seats. Anyone anyone have any idea what this is? Are used to think it was related to my diesel particulate filter doing a region cycle, but I know there’s plenty of heat shielding under the car, and it’s on both the passenger and driver side. My air conditioning system does not seem to have any issues, so I’m not suspecting that. I live in turn the entire climate control system off, and this still occurs.

Sounds silly but lower the temps on the rear climate control and turn the knob to blue instead of red if it isn't. I had a similar issue and that "cured" it for me. I understand you turn off the entire system but it doesn't hurt to try.

I will try that. Right now it’s set to mimic the drivers settings. It’s ally of heat too, like you have the heater cranked all the way up. I have it iced it for a long time, on this road trio I had 10 hours to feel it and think a out it though.
