Diesel X5 35d is on a distinguished road
Same problem. Designed to warm up the engine as quickly as possible. Nature of the beast. I think it is a good feature as it warms up the oil quicker. You want nice warm oil to lubricate the turbos before they start really spinning. Fingers crossed.
