Thanks service history was great so hopefully no issues there. care was super clean inside and out even before detail.

I did just get it back, and will take some pictures on my lunch break.

One other thing I need to find out about.

I have been looking through the forums and have seen a couple of post on it, but I still have to read more... I would like to be able to hook this up to my laptop and pull codes and run diagnostics like I did on my E38. I have some cables, and RheingoldUSA on the laptop. I think this car even uses the same cable, but without the round 20 pin adapter for under the hood. is that correct? thanks

btw mine is a Hain BMW K+DCAN USB. not an expensive one, but i never had any issues with it.

Very nice example. Congrats. Sounds like a great dealership experience too to make all those repairs for you. Makes me feel bad about buying from the dealership we did for our F15.

Thanks! It does appear I am missing some tools. Anyone have the part number of the missing tools?

seems you are missing the orange/red tool used to manually disengage the parking brake

use realoem to find the part numbers

Thanks, I looked all over realoem but didn’t know what I was missing so hard to find it. I found the wrench on there, but nothing else

easier to search by description in ebay, most of these are regularly posted for sale OR going to a wrecker and trying to find them

the orange piece --whatever its name is-- is important as is needed both for an emergency release of the parking brake as well as to put the transmission in neutral with no power

I thik the upper one is a wheel lock key...slips over the odd bolt head, and presents a standard hex fitting to the lug wrench.

The Z think MAY be a sunroof wrench??? just a wag
