Hidden/special features - codable features

Hi guyz,

After 13 years with an E53 3.0d, I just bought a 2012 E70 3.0d, so I'm not really familiar with all things.

I'm looking to find out if there are any hidden/special features on the car, and also what things can be re-coded to make it more pleasant.

Could anybody give me a list of things I can try please?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers, Chris

This popped up on a internet search when I was looking for a list as well.

You can also search the BMW Coding forum (online search) for E70's.

Here's a direct link to the Bimercodeapp.com website...that when you select your BMW model to see what coding is supported...it gives this page that you can click on to see what can be done (there's at least 30(+) areas that can be coded for the e70 with this app): https://www.bimmercode.app/cars/e70/

If you click around the site...you can see what is required to download the app, and the various ways to connect the app to your vehicle...which allows you to see the cost of the app and the OBD adapters and cables etc.
