Comfort Access Handle Not Working

As the title says.

I did not see any errors on a full auto scan with foxwell but it may have broken after taking delivery. I did the scan when I did the test drive.

Anyhow all CA handles work except driver door. I know I tested CA before taking delivery but I may have inadvertently tested on the back left door only.

Is there some chance the connector just unplugged or is it always the sensor?

Also should I get an error?

I read that people have swapped front and back handles and that sounds like a perfect option vs $250 plus paint.

E-novo is on a distinguished road
I had a similar problem. You can swap front to back but understand that the driver's door handle is programmed to only unlock that door. All the other handles unlock ALL doors. Worth knowing if you're worried about security - all doors will unlock when you use CA on the driver's door (with the rear handle installed.)

As for the removal/install - check youtube. It's so simple once you do it. I can do it in 2 mins.

Do a VIN search and find your paint code - then hit eBay. I got my driver's door handle for $75 shipped and pass rear for $55. Realoem.com will show all the compatible part numbers. It's a little work but worth it for the savings.

Good luck!

I found a YouTube video how to track down a broken wire in the ca handle and repair. I'm going to try that first.

That's very weird that the door handle itself not the position determines the 1 vs. 5 door unlock. That would suggest that can be reprogrammed
