X5d crankcase position sensor

Hello,

New to the group, picked up a '13 x5d in Alpine white a couple months back. Had intermittent stalling issues outta the blue, usually when hot out. Had it professionally scanned and fault comes up for crankcase position sensor. Does anyone have a schematic of the location of this? Could only find location on non diesel when searching.

Thanks so much for any assistance.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Its actually funny that you post that - because that is exactly what is happening to me as well, on a 2013 X5D in Alpine White -

Scary enough issue that my wife is not going to drive it any longer as she just had it stall on one of our local roads (4th time in the last 3 weeks) -

The car literally just dies out of nowhere and also surges randomly with acceleration. From what I understand it is impossible to remove, without removing the starter first.

Would this be a timing chain issue?
