electrical error codes
Every few days I'm losing the clock, mpg and some other memory functions, when the car isn't running. This only occurs when the car is off. I measured the voltage to see if its the battery or alternator. Im getting 13.8 - 14 v on my OBD foxwell unit. Im getting the following codes: 2deb power management vehicle electrical system 2e8c intelligent battery sensor function 2ebd - no bdm message from alternator The car is new to me and the battery was dead when I bought it. Swapped and coded the battery with AGM battery. Im thinking it could be the intelligent battery sensor, but not sure. It seems the battery and alternator are throwing the right voltage. Any thoughts? |

The alternator and intelligent battery sensor code seem related to me. They both share a messaging bus called BSD which would suggest the bus (wire) itself may have a fault? I believe it's a single wire. I could also be totally wrong here :p

Do you know the path of that wire?

That’s great thanks. At least I give a visual and check connections
