Steering box is full of air

Steering rack is full of air after a rebuild. How do I get it out as turning left to right whilst it's jacked up is doing nothing whatsoever. Does the rack have a bleed valve anywhere? I've got adaptive or dynamic drive or whatever it's called. Hydro roll bars.

Cheers chaps. Will post a vid of it later.

Ive had steering systems grenade...bits and pieces can then get distributed throughout the system. Sometimes the pump has an integrated filter/screen that gets fouled.... fluid isnt moving to allow it to flush.

Just a thought

Oh, you are doing all this while running, right?? That vid looks like a parked car, off, wiggling a wheel about....

Yup, cars jacked up at fto t. I've had engine on, but have to turn it off within a minute as the reservior overflows and the fluid is warm. I too
K the 2x smaller pipes off the rack that come from the box (control box I assume) at the bottom of the column earlier and moved the wheels. Dry as a bone. So it would seem to me like an airlock to me 🤷 could be wrong though. Just not sure which is going to be my next method to try.

New pump fitted and the rack started leaking. Rack was sent off for refurbishment.

I never done the work so I don't know how server it was.

A combination of holding the steering against the stops (engine running) and then waiting for bubbles to clear(engine off) should do it.

Tried that also I'm afraid.

Filter is in the reservior and it's spot on.

I don't think so. The way they're bent would suggest they could only be fit one way. What's mad, is the steering works!
