Wheel locking bolt gone

Hi all, I’ve gone to renew my brakes today but when I put the locking wheel nut on the bolt I noticed that there’s no top to the bolt it’s just missing, please can you help with ideas on how to get it out.

That bolt needs a key to match the cutout. it should be in the glovebox or toolkit.

Hi I’ve got the locking wheel nut but there’s nothing to put it on , it’s somehow missing, one photo shows what should be there and the other is with it gone.

Ah, now I understand the first pic - Drill a hole in that guy, and use a broken bolt extractor. that is weird.

When you take the other 4 lugs out, does the wheel come off? or is that 'remnant head' still enough to hold the wheel on??

Can be a bear to drill out.... Once the wheel is off, a vice grips should be able to grab on...

It appears that the shank is still in place. I don't know how that happened. hoping that because it is a theft bolt, it is not on crazy tight. - but yes, if a large bolt extractor bit does not work, then drill out the shank with large bits
