Looking for Acc wire under hood.

I am looking for a good location to tap into under the hood. I would use a relay so as not to pull too much current from the wire. I would like it to be a 12v wire that has power when ever the car wakes up. Ideally turns on and off with the halos on the car.

I will post a pic shortly of what I am doing

That's cool, where did you get those? If you can't find anything under the hood I used fuse #7 in the under-dash box to power my dashcam. If turns on just by opening the door and remains on for a few minutes after you shut the engine off.

Thanks. I did read that post. I was considering using it, I was just hoping to do it under the hood.

I made them, at least the light part. the grilles them self can be purchased on Amazon and Ebay. I glued the lights on to them. in the pic you can still see the clamps holding the glue on the light blue one

I used the same wire for my halos and LED running lights. Works great.

My wires under the hood were different. I got the DMM out and found some wires that work for me. lights come on when the car wakes up and shut off about 60 second after doors are locked, or you close doors with car off ect.

here are 2 pics. one day time and one night. sorry the night picture isn't very good.
