About to do rear brakes but some issues remain

Whether or not it is proper, I use the rear differential as a jacking point for the rear of car, as well as the cross member up front. These seem to be the only way to utilize the frame jacking points for jack stands. The load is removed from differential as soon as stands are in place.
Just be careful not to load the differential rear cover.

Thanks! Yes, using stands immediately after jacking is my plan.
