32416788256 Exp. hose, Adaptive Drive 1st section

A friend of mine just recently had an adaptive drive pump fail and puke fluid everywhere on his 2010 X5d. We replaced the pump and couldn't get the system to re-initialize. While digging for info on that, he came across literature stating to replace a specific hose if a pump failed and leaked externally. It said due to a high probability of the hose failing internally from a deadheaded pump. This hose shows no longer available through BMW and no stock in any BMW warehouses. Unable to find an aftermarket replacement also. Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone else found a remedy for this? I have also been looking to see if any hydraulic shops could put new hose on these older fittings, but no luck yet.

The hose in question is this:
