RDC Module Failure/Short frequency?

Has anyone had their RDC module fail/short to ground either permanently or temporarily, due to water/corrosion?

I’m battling electronic malfunctions as a result of rain that is NOT related to water in the trunk or passenger footwells.

Same issues as in this video. Eager to find out if other e70 owners have experienced similar.

I have a separate thread detailing the issues, but this thread could be a very good landing point for people experiencing iDrive screen flickering and electronic malfunctions from rain.

I've read of other users experiencing RDC failure on their E70s as well. An alternative option would be to code the vehicle from TPMS to FTM (flat tire monitoring).
