Low Beam Xenon - Replacement

2012-X5, drivers side Low Beam is turning "pink" in color i.e going bad.
Have you replace this? Hard to get to, with dust cover - but does not look that bad to replace myself.
Thanks,
Ralph

When one starts changing colors they are both worn out (probably 30-50% loss of lumen). Get a pair.

DMEX D1S Xenon HID Headlight... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F6ZJY6L...p_mob_ap_share

This was the exact lamp I bought.

It's a tight squeeze getting in there but I don't remember needing any tools. Pretty sure my wrists looked like I battled a cat but the color is good very similar to factory and still going strong two years later.

I changed the lights to, it’s easy.

Open the light cap, a small press on the top lip will open the cap. ( don’t drop the cap)

Just turn the light and it will come lose, then disconnect the connector.
Connect the power connector to the light before you put it on place.
When putting the new light in, don’t touch the glass of the light.

When ready place the cap back, be shure it’s lockt with the lip.

The driver side is a bit easier than the passenger side,

Driver = left I presume. Right side was definitely harder but the whole process took like 20 minutes combined.

In my case I noticed one or both dimming and a bit orange/brown and within two days one was out. I think I already had replacements ordered.

Seen standing in front of the car I found it the right side easier, than the left side.
But it could be just how handy you are with your hands.
