Yes, the truth does hurt.
No it isn't. You've confused maximum-permissible-charging-voltage (14.8v for AGM) with fully-charged-battery-voltage (12.6v or so), and they are NOT the same. When you shut engine off after driving, battery will show 13.2 volts or so. This is a surface charge on the plates of the battery. It will gradually dissipate to ~12.6 if battery is fully charged.
