I had to check if airbag was takata version on e53 it was justa couple screws that held on the horn cover to get to the airbag. Find a YouTube video fire F15 I'm betting it's similar.

I've done it before, I'm trying to avoid taking it apart and having to disconnect the battery and having all the settings reset.

You don't have to disconnect the battery to take a look only if you unplug the airbag and turn on the ignition.

The horn constantly honks when I try to remove the airbag, not trying to piss off the neighbors.
