Best seats for E70?
I know on E53 we have 4.6 and 4.8 engine versions that came with comfort nappa seats, I.e. with articulating back. Looking at some pictures of partouts for E70, I see some seats with articulating back, but leather seems regular, on 2010 3.0. Then I saw different seats on 2012 X5M. They did not have articulating back, but leather seems higher quality and stitching was different. Please educate me which versions of E70 had the best front seats package. I assume it would be nappy with articulating back and thigh support? |

Wife had the extending seat in her 50i and it wasn't as comfortable as my more basic seats in both my e53 and e70 but any of the bladder adjust bits are a winner. The quality of the leather as you mentioned world be where I'd be interested in checking out.

I like the all electric LCI comfort seats, they have all the functions to get a proper seat. Even with my length of 1,95 cm and long legs.
I don’t know all the functions in English, but the back has the upper part that can move, and the movable rest for the legs and the side support can be filled with air. Due to the movable upper part of the back, also the headrest is a perfect fit. |
