Diesel 200 miles till no start help
I’ve searched and there’s a plethora of threads but it’s too much to pars through. Warning came on as soon as I left work starting the 200 mile countdown. I have a 150 mile round trip so I’m already down to 125 miles. If I drive to work Monday, I’m cooked. It’s likely the nox sensors (I’ve never done them and have put over 100k miles on it in 8 years myself), no guarantees that’s it though. Could also be the scr cat, the active or passive tanks, etc… DEF injector and o2 sensor along with all temp sensors are new (within 6k miles), as well as the turbos and oil feed lines, vacuum system, etc. DPF was removed and cleaned by a reputable shop 6000 miles ago as well. It’s my daily so keeping the emissions on the up & up is necessary. It’s all stock. My plan is to replace the nox sensors (they’ll be here Wednesday) but even then, I have no way to reset adaptations to get the system to recognize the sensors are new. I’ve tried setting up ista+ many times in the past with no success. Anyone sell a ssd with everything loaded (plug & play) for a win 10 laptop? Any scanners that can do this without the pc? Send me in the right direction before I make this problem worse. It’s extremely frustrating that this thing is literally holding me hostage so I can’t get to work.

This is from memory, so take it with a grain.. I recall that once the countdown is running, you need to run the ISTA+ SCR service function to test SCR operation, then it takes some miles after that for the system to clear the fault. Maybe install the sensors and take to the dealer? Or get ISTA+ running. Either way obviously conserve miles to the extreme.

I think you can do it with a foxwell, accessing the DDE control and reset the SCR adaptations?
