new x5?????

why would bmw ever create a car like that???? after creating the x3, which is ridiculously ugly, they decide to make the new x5's look like a taller and longer x3??!! very, very dissapointed with BMW, instead of making the x5 look meaner and beefier, the way it should look like, they turn it into an x3/minivan looking car.... just my 2 cents

I'd reserve judgement until you actually see the 'official' pictures or see it in person.

Well considering that X3 sales make up a large number of overall BMW sales, I think the general car buying public disagrees with some of the above statements.

As for the new X5, as I've said before, it will come out and in 9 months everyone will like the styling...just like the new 3 and 5 series looks.

A car like what? We have not yet seen any pictures of it. We've only seen some camo-laden mules... We don't really know yet what the thing will look like.

I'm willing to give BMW the benefit of the doubt; they know who their custoemrs are and what they want in a bimmer. I'm willing to bet they stay true to the BMW tradition of a high-performance vehicle.

Let's hold judgement until we see it and drive it.

Juan

Um...I hate the new 5 series. The new 3 is ok. If the new X5 looks anything like a larger X3, I'm looking elsewhere.
