I read somewhere that Audi has already received 16,000 orders for Q7 worldwide.

There were some new interior shots of the 2007 X5 in this week's Autocar. Has anyone scanned some pictures in yet?

I don't have a scanner, but thought they must be pictures that have been on the internet somewhere. They show the steering wheel and some of the dashboard, then there's a rear seat shot showing a bench seat similar to today's X5 but with a different rear instrument layout. They're not very good pictures but seem to show an evolution from today's dash layout but with some of the new components (indicators stalks etc) together with 'some' X3-like elements.

Here's a crap camera phone copy of the picture. Nothing earth shattering but shows a little more (if you can make it out from the fuzzy picture).

Thanks! very fuzzy but steering seems to be same as the 5 and 6-series.

exactly! i laughed when i saw the first pictures of it. my initial impressions.....fubar! i aint laughing now though. impressive, impressive, impresive, the more i look the more i like. it does alot of things well that are important to me, and has an outside of the box styling-handsome in a gruesome way that is somehow appealing to me.

realising this is an X5 board i won't mention it any further other than i can not wait until june to see one in the flesh and test drive it.

Mike
