Im not liking the X3's, whens the NEW model of that due? not the refreshment but the redesigned?

US will get E70 X5 in late November / early December.

Other markets will get it in early 2007.

Looks like the hood is from the current X5, especially the centre of the hood and the kidney grills. I'm not fond of the rounded edges on the headlights. If it looks anything like the red one on LeMansX5's page, I will not be lining up to buy one!

i still cannot understand how in the world they will be able to fit a third row into ANY of the spy shot vehicles i've seen. anybody?

May be they also have a long wheel base version.

There will be no LWB X5.

Two additional (optional) folding seats (3rd row) are strictly provisional.

why they cancelled 4.4 ?!!

BMW upgraded the V8 engine. The 4.4L Valvetronic engine is history in the U.S. My guess is that the new X5 will get the 4.8L Valvetronic engine as is from the 550i which is rated at 360 @ 6300 RPM and 360 ft-lbs @ 3400 RPM.

That's 5 more ponies and 9 less ft-lbs than the 4.8is with what I'm guessing would be the same MPG rating of the old 4.4i.

Now if they could hook it up to a 6 speed manual or a 7 speed SMG...
