Nice, Nice... An evolution indeed; I'm just not that hot on:

- No more split tailgate :-(
- That E60ish interior... I guess It'll grow on me..
- That funky-joystick-ish shifter.... I guess it'll REALLY have to grow and grow on me....

Good thing I've got 36 months left on my 2006-model lease for all the quirks to grow on me

Great new pics. The cupholders looks like a better design than the current E90 & E60 cars. I never had any problems with the E53 cupholders, but the E70 cupholders appear to hold bigger cups!

The tailgate is still split...same as current E53 tail gate. See pic below.
The interior is lot better than E60
I kind of like the shifter.

The Limo and the Touring does not have LEDs .. it only looks like LED but it isnt. The new Coupe (E92) starts with the LEDs, also the facelifted X3, the third one is the new X5. They are bright enough!!

Oh LA LA! IMO, each successive iteration of Bangle's design language gets better and better (that's not to say it started out well, but I like where it is going). This is truly the first replacement of an existing BMW architecture with the new design cues that I am immediately sold upon. I like darn near everything about it!

My observation is based on the E92 coupe. See pic below. But will wait to see in person. As long as the 3 CELIS LED stripes are bright and can be distinguished apart, they will be good.
