Price would be more, probably because of better materials and the 4 yr maintenance.

Interior of the ML feels like a Chrysler Town & Country IMHO.

Based on manufacturer's numbers
ML350 0-60 7.9 sec
E70 3.0 0-60 7.8 sec

The E70 exterior is way more sportier than the current ML. Just need to get your eyes check.

Personally i think the E70 is the best looking SUV out right now. IT definately but the new ML and Q7 in there place. I cant wait to see it in person. And as far as performance i think it is a given the X5 will also outperform every Suv out there just like it did with the E53 for years. Im sure it wont have the softest ride though like some want because thats not what BMW is about.

i've been looking at both the E53 and the ML350, test drove both. I'm not at all impressed with the new ML350. It drives and feels like an upscale Chrysler. The E53 on the other hand has character, even though it's a somewhat dated design. The handling is like none other. I was waiting for the E70 before making a final decision and from what I see, I'm very happy with the new model. The exterior looks gorgeous, the interior from the pics also seems very luxurious and contains all the characteristic of a BMW. I much prefer the driver centric feel of a BMW interior to a plush, plain and senseless ride of a Lexus or MB. If the E70 handles the same or better than E53, I'm sold. Can't wait to see one in person and test drive one.
