Hey fellas,

Any specific instructions on how to add +AHMU module?

I have the OEM hitch kit installed and modules all wired up but not sure where to start in the coding or adding the module.

I have some basic functionality coded, remote tailgate close...

thanks,

Where in Cali are you? Have you done any feature coding yourself? I just finished my OEM hitch install yesterday and embarking on the coding next.

Okay, added the +AMHU module to both the CAS and FRM using expert mode.

Now i heard i need to code the AMH module so i did that, but i was also suggested to select 'process car'. This is used to code all modules that may be have dependencies on the AMH module and recode them too. Problem is i got an error when it was coding the TCUM module. I guess this happens sometimes because of the large amount of data flow to different modules... not for sure though cause the coding forum is pretty convoluted.

Now my idrive screen says 'espace m' in the right corner, everything seems to work, but dont like errors.

Is there a list of modules that are effected by the +AMHU coding?

Thank soo much,

Since you have a MY '12 35D, are you using the V46 daten files? This might allow you to code the module you cannot, and fix your error.

No, dealer actually coded mine. It was before I learned to code. but I would code only the CAS, FRM and AHM trailer module. You could always code a blank fswpsw.man file to the module you are having issues with and that will reset it back to its default state.

Just quoting my old post. I finally got my trailer zoom function coded. Can't believe how simple it was. Why the dealers are so reluctant or unwilling to learn to do this is beyond me . Now I can back up to a big trailer with ease and be in the right position for hitching.
I asked about this again about a month ago when I went for service. Service adviser makes some inquiries and comes back saying the rear camera would have to be changed, along with various sensors etc... blah blah blah..
All I know is, I'm a happy camper now .

so... did the dealer change the camera and the dealer coded it? or, dealer just coded the camera that you have? or, you just coded it yourself???

I don't have the E70 but i am just curious how the issue was resolved...
