Dude u are comparing a Dodge to a bmw, at least compare a brand at the level of bmw, such as porsche, merc and audi...
it is like comparing a Vette to a F430 |

(sigh) I knew posting that would attract the flamers. Yes, as a 3-time Bimmer owner, I know firsthand that there is no comparison between the X5 and Durango (as I stated) in build quality, handling, performance, etc. One can draw a valid point from your post, that ALL luxury-level SUV's as you point out have really risen to an extremely high level. There really is a big gap between luxury SUV's and the high-end of non-luxury SUV's, even when the non-luxury model is maxxed out with every possible option.

As much as I would like to compare Dodges, BMW, Porsches, the real final say comes from the wife, the driver of the X5. She wants the X5!
Can't really argue with her much considering I bought an M5! |
