In the US both the 3.0si and the 4.8i will have 18" as standard and 19" with the Sport Package. I would guess the 3.0si would get the 210's and the 4.8i the 209's as their standard 18" wheels. The 211's and 212's are regular 19" wheels while the 213's are staggered 19". I would guess that the 4.8i would probably get the staggered one (213) and the 3.0si will end up with either the 211's or the 212's. I don't like the 209, 210, and 212's. I don't mind the 211's and 213's,........and although normally I do not like designs that have a flowery look (like the 214's), in this case it is different. I don't know what it is, maybe the fact that it has a very flat face, but to my surprise I do like them.

i think the 168s would look incredible on the e70. i will be getting an e70 and will see if i can get them put on it

good point - i do too, but i do not like the 214's at all. any suggestions? i do like the rims similar to the 168's on the 745 (i think)

Big thanks for the pictures. I too will need to see them on the truck. Some wheels look completely different once they are mounted up.
The 214 will be the way I go just to keep the killer wide footprint. Unless the '05 20" 4.8is wheels can be retro fitted to the the '07 4.8i Curtis

What I don't understand is why are both the 18" and the 19" tire size 255/55. This means that the 19" setup increases the overall diameter of the tire by 1", instead of keeping the diameter the same as the 18" setup by using a lower profile tire (for example 255/50 or 255/45).
When BMW offers bigger diameter wheels on other models they choose smaller profiles to keep the overall diameter close to the standard tires (as they should) so that the speedo, as well as all the electronic monitoring and safety systems would work correctly. However, if these sizes shown above are correct it would mean that there would be a big difference between the base models and sport models in diameter, which can throw off the speedo and other sensors. Maybe BMW has a "loose" calibration for the speedo and other monitoring equipment that are set to somewhere in between the two different diameters???
