xDrive vs. SH-AWD vs. Quadra-Drive II vs. Quattro vs. SAWD???

Which system is better and why? I saw in another post some mention that SH-AWD was better than xDrive (or dynamic xDrive) and may be a direction BMW goes with in the future .... possible at the mid-life of the E70 when it will be ready for a technology refresh and a facelift.....
