E70 20'' tires - question

since the new run flat 20's are performance tires, how would they perform in the snow/rain/sleet? i dont have room to keep a set of winter tires (i live in nyc), so would i be better off getting the 19" all season tires?

I currently have 20" on my 4.8is and those tires are not for winter driving. They are almost like driving on slicks. I assume the new 20" run flats are the same. I have 18" winter wheels and tires that I put on in winter. It is a pain to store them.

How's the perfomance on the 20's in the rain and hydroplaning? Thanks for any advice.

It's not so much a function of the wheels being 20" as it is the tires (diamaris) being a summer performance tire and not liking the cold weather. I've run 20" all season tires in the past on my Touareg and had no problems at all, just limit the width to 275...I ran 275/45/20 Yokohama H/TS 052's

There are all season and snow 20" as well. But for E70 you need run flats.
