So, where is the glove box?

Looking at the brochure of the E70, I don't see the glove box anywhere. But there is a small rectangular button down below the central vents (right side). Is that the push button for the glove box? And the glove box is now moved to the dash (instead of below the dash)?

yes, that is the button for glove box

the glove box is the part above the rectangular section you highlighted. the black section in the dash opens up and the glove box is more 'vertically' oriented vs. horizontally.

Oh, that's neat. But I'm sure we lose some space with that tiny glove box.
Next question: where is the front passenger airbag?

does this mean you can no longer lock the glovebox with the ignition key?

That is a nice deep well. I hope the airbag is not anywhere near that opening, I can just invision the force of the bag hauling that chunck of wood right toward you face or the other top hinge of the glove box door. **eekk**

I would imagine the airbag will come out at the seam of the top dash which is still close to that glove box top opening, or else breaks open the top part of the dash.

Wonder if it has a key to turn off the passenger bag if noone is sitting there?


I LOVE LOVE LOVE this interior and the way the Nav is built into the the dash, I can't wait to hear this Prem Sound with all those watts!!

the 6disk cd changer better be in there like my moms 7series.. im tired of having my cd changer in the back...

oh ya and i hope we dont get stuck wit the tape player behind the navi in the e70
