Anyone try the third row yet?

I tried getting into the 3rd row on the Q7 for S & G's. What a nightmare. I can't imagine the third row being any *worse* in the X5 but has anyone tried to get back there?

I don't think any of the dealers have the new X5 yet! Besides the 3rd row is obviously meant for kids 5ft or less. I don't think any adults are going to crawl back there. If you're carrying 7 adults, you need a minivan.

I just do that to try and experience what the kids would getting in and out. On the Q7, it was a nightmare even for a kid it would be. The second row 2-part seat slides forward and tilts slightly. Very narrow area to get in and out.

just by looking at the size of X5 compare to Q7, i am guessing the X will have a smaller third roll

Wasn't there some literature that said the 3rd row seat was designed for occupants up to 5'6"? It would be remarkable space planning by BMW if this was indeed the case.
