Yeah, you got to see it first before deciding to paint it... As far as the front bumper I think painting it will somehow disrupt the overall design of the E70...

Don't forget to breathe...

when comparing a e70 base to a e53 4.8is i do theink the e53 looks better. But that is not a fair comparison. You should compare the E70 to the E53 3.0 for it to be apples to apples. Then i say the E70 looks much better. I think we have to wait to see what the 4.8 e53 replacement looks like and then compare the old 4.8 to the new version. At that point i think the E70 will be on top.

Definitly looks like an overinflated X3 to me, especially well you look at old graceful next to it!

cmyX6go will become famous soon enough
I'm not liking all the mesh stuff going on with the nose. I absolutely agree with the black plastic being nasty. I'm glad I have until next January to decide. If I had to chose right now, based on looks alone, I think I'd jump ship.

HOWEVER, we all know the performance will play a huge role in the decision making process. If it can make me grin more than the E53 does I may be able to get past the mesh.

Sometimes all these forum chats make me laugh.

I have an advice for all of you: wait a few more weeks, then go to your dealer, check the car in person, and DRIVE IT.

E70 so much better than E53 . in every asspect. Driving the car will wash all the doubts away.

And for those who do not like "ugly black plastic" bumpers: wait till E70 Aerodynamic body kit comes out (soon!), and you will forget about E53 instantly. To get an idea: compare 2004 X3 with X3 featuring Aerodynamic body kit:
