Electric Steering Wheel Positionning

I am from Europe and I am planning on buying a New 5X 3.0d in December. I picked up yesterday the option list from by dealer but I could not find the Following options :

Electric positioning of the Steering wheel
Automatic Tailgate

I have those features on my 7 series and I would like to get it on the X5.
Have you seen those to features in the USA Model ?
Do you have the BMW code ?

Thanks

Dealer told me that the auto tailgate will not be available in Canada until the 2008 model year.

That stinks though, don't understand the rationale. My wife really wants this feature. Looks like she'll have to decide if she's ready to wait until Oct 2007.

It is disappointing to me as well. However, they change dates all the time so maybe they can figure this out quicker. I know the test cars that they were using at the Spartanburg ride were equipped with auto tailgate. Every other SUV has this feature, even a KIA, why haven't BMW figured out how to do this! Could be safety issues and goverment approval.

OK new info. Just talk to my CA. Informed me that the power tailgate feature would be available (perhaps as a special order) for April production and May delivery. His manager wasn't sure that it would be a feature made available without special order (fee of about $400, plus option cost).
