It's been that way with most new BMWs lately. Kinda

If I could pick, I'd get the X5 3.0si in Space Gray, and the 4.4i in Sapphire Black. The hard for me was matching the all-red taillights ().

By the way, I found out that if you saved a build-your-own configuration from a while ago when they hadn't redesigned the site, retreiving the old config will also bring up the old BYO site!! Ah yes, the good ol' days...............

Power on............
There is no E70 "4.8is". The "is" version will come late next year or early 2008. Congrats! on your 4.8i X5.

Oh Great One, excuse the f*** out of me and my total dumba** ignorance. I merely was indicating that my 4.8i was equipped with the sport package.

I can tell already that this board has some really strong types??????

wow, time for decaf?

he was merely pointing out a minor error that you made, there are a lot of people looking for the IS when it comes out, and saying IS to mean "sport" well, isn't something anyone on here does, so it was confusing.

Relax.

Point taken. Glad you added the fact that it was something that no one on this board would do - very nice. I am certainly well below the qualifications required to post on the X5 World board. I guess that I will now take the opportunity to bow out gracefully from this board. I never had any of this BS over at M3 Forums or the M5 Board. You folks have fun.

wow..... so if i said i had an X5M to incorrectly denote that I had the M stood for "manual" instead of the performance package do you think anyone would correct me on here to let me know that there isn't an X5M? of course they would, because it's confusing. Do the M3 and M5 guys let you mis-identify BMW models? if so, that's kind of weird.

WHy are you so cranky?

Merry Christmas.

I blame BMW. It's a bit stupid to have both an SI and an IS (for LeMan's sake, when it arrives!!!)

Relax man. No one said that you're below the qualifications to post on this board, they just pointed out that it was confusing, indeed it is. No one said that you're not welcome here.
