Replica Wheels in Canada

Anyone know where to get a set of Replica Wheels in Canada for the E70? I am near Toronto. Stealer wants $4000.00 for OEM 18"'s with snow tires.

Do you know what brand and model of snow tires they are using? I'm trying to find out what the options are in run-flat tires.

I used to buy tires/wheels at Newmarket Tire in Newmarket for my 911's. They always had the best prices. I've also heard this from others also.

Thanks Praetorian, I called them a spoke with them. They seem very knowledgable and helpful. I was concerned about the TPMS and they said that the system on the 07 X5 is based on a level indication not pressure, so no need for extra sensors for the snows. Also recommended not to go with run flats for winter. Can anyone confirm this about the TPMS? I have read and heard so many different variations on this.

I understand about not going runflat for the winter, but you won't have a spare, so....

That's my concern as well. The person I talked to said that the Run Flats do not do what they are supposed too and he has yet to see a Run Flat that does not heat up and shred once pressure is lost. I think I would rather have the Run Flat just for a little security.

Denalio, thanks for the info on the snow tire model. I don't think either type that you mentioned is available yet in the US, although I found a listing for the Dunlops from a Canadian site for US$382.99 (ouch).

The tire pressure monitor does indeed not require separate wheel sensors. It compares wheel RPM's once the car is exceeding about 25 km/hr. Have you confirmed that using non RFT's is OK on these rims? At the very least, the ride would probably be softer with less stiff sidewalls.

My dealer has a couple other customers that use non run flats for winter tires, so it does work.
