I appreciate the suggestion. Was planning on using Westchester for service. Do you have a rep at Westchester you can recommend ('r' me)...

I actually was a bit disappointed with the guy I worked with at Westchester. I told him I was ready to place an order as soon as I drove a 4.8- the guy didn't even bother checking before telling me he didn't have any available to test drive- he only had a 3.0 (which I drove). On my way in that day, I saw a 4.8 in the driveway and on the way out, I saw other customers getting out.... The salesman was nice enough but didn't seem to care if I bought the car from him or not...

I waited a week before going to Mt. Kisco and they had a 4.8 to drive so I was happy giving them my business.

So, has anyone actually taken delivery on a Tobacco yet? perhaps they did one run and that's it till the spring? My order was for Feb or March delivery so I'm not too upset about waiting a bit longer. But if it goes to June/July, I'm more likely to take an '08....

My guy, Lance has left (he went to BMW of Bridgeport) Lance is nice and soft spoken guy. But you can try Dan O'Connell or Elan Zamora as I have heard good things about them. Last time I was there I spoke to Bob Price who seemed resonable. They don't have pushy salesman as they sell BMWs anyway and I like it that way. No other dealer in area compares to amount of business they do. They were the only dealer able to get me special order 4.8is in 6 weeks with discount when everyone else in area told me 4 months and no discount. They will also be among first to offer Priority 1 options as they become available for new X5.
