this is it for now. i tried to take these without the flash but it was overcast and i couldnt keep my hand steady enough. dark bambo is the wood, which is also very glossy so it will be tough to get a good pic. maybe when it's sunny

WOW...tobacco was not what i expected...seemed different in the BMW-released pics.

like i said, it appears darker in normal light...unless you carry a flash around.

Are you 100% sure that is it tabacco ? This look like sattelbraun ...

its tobacco. it appears darker in person. saddle brown is not avail on an x5. go to a dealer and look at tobacco vs saddle. you'll see saddle in a lot of 3 series

You will also see that cars with Saddle Brown have a black interior unlike the Tabacco Leather and Tabacco interior on skarletknite's car. Great looking car by the way.

Just had a look at the UK site and Saddle Brown is available to us, so here are a couple of shots of the interior with the Bambo.
